Initially Graphic Designer, graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et Métiers d'Art of Paris (EMSAAMA)
and holding a PhD in Computer Science (University of Toulouse),
I am Assistant Professor at the LII Laboratory of the French national aviation university (ENAC).

Research activities

My work centers on the themes of information visualization, interaction design, graphics architecture, and design or digital typography, especially regarding safety-critical systems.

This activity is connected in the field of aeronautics, with projects carried out in cooperation with industry, for over 20 years, on issues concerning user interfaces for air trafic controllers (working position) or pilots (aircraft cockpits). Today, I am scientific coordinator of the ANR research project AIRTIUS http://airtius.net, which the aim of studying Tangible Embodied Space for Pilots-Systems interaction.

Teatching activities

I teach Graphic Design Creativity and Interaction Design in the Master IHM of Toulouse University
or within the in-service training of engineers at ENAC, and in the framework of introductory courses and trainings.

I also teach analisys of need, user centered design and interactive systems design for ENAC engineering students.
